All items offered and sold through ART INVEST shall be offered and sold on the terms and conditions set forth below. By bidding at the auction the buyer agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- The bidder must be older than 18 years
- To place bids in ART INVEST Online Auctions you must first register.
Any personal information you provide will not be used for other commercial purposes
and will not be sold, rented, leased or forwarded to any third party. With registration you
get your personal ID number.
- The objects will be auctioned off in the state and condition they are at the very moment the bid is accepted. All objects in the auction are with some exceptions used items. They are in a condition according to their age and provenience.
There is an opportunity to inspect the items during the exhibition prior to the auction.
- The successful bidder acquires the auction item only after full payment of the award and the buyer’s Premium, which is 19 % of the item´s hammer price, and possibly arisen default interests, packaging and shipping charges. The payment has to be made within 14 calendar days after auction.
- Payment of purchased items is possible in cash in ART INVEST Gallery on Dobrovičova street 7 in Bratislava or by sending of the final price on our bank account: IBAN: SK41 0200 0000 0025 1763 2851 ; SWIFT: SUBASKBX. In case of payment through bank account it is necessary to state your ID number (given at registration on our website).
- Purchases may be removed once satisfactory payment is made. All purchases must be removed within 14 calendar days. After this time ART INVEST reserves the right to charge storage fees 5 euro (+ VAT) per day for every purchased item. If the buyer refuses to pay storage fees, purchased item will not be given to him until the buyer pays these storage fees, even though the buyer already paid the final price of purchased item.
- ART INVEST can arrange convenient shipping of your property.Packing and shipping charges will be added to final price of the item.
- The reclaim of purchased items is possible within 5 days after payment and receiving.
- In case of serious suspicion or apprehension that purchased artwork may be forgery, the bidder has right to apply reclaim within 3 days after receiving of the item. After that time the bidder has 14 days to submit a written testimonial of an expert in the field of visual arts that proves this suspicion.
